With Christmas approaching seemingly as fast as Santa and his reindeer on Christmas night, we thought it would be a great time to highlight some of the seasonal happenings in the north of the Island, just a snowball’s (ok, we get it, there’s no snow… yet…) throw from our Ballagarraghyn development of new build, energy-efficient houses.
Milntown Santa Teas, Ramsey
The kids will love a festive afternoon tea in the splendid café at historic Milntown house.
They’ll get some exclusive time with the main man himself, Father Christmas, and (whisper it quietly) perhaps a gift for the little ones!
While you’re up there, don’t forget to get out in the fresh winter air and check out the wonderful gardens

Bertie’s Farm, Jurby
In Jurby itself, all the family will enjoy Christmas at Bertie’s Farm
Father Christmas will be out and about again and all children will receive a special gift!
The farm is transformed into a festive delight with activities including gingerbread decorating, and even making your own reindeer food – just in time for the visit of you know who and his herd!

Carol-oke, Ramsey
Want to belt out their favourite Christmas carols at full volume? Now’s your chance!
Sing with Sally-Anne and Drum Base are hosting Carol-oke on Sunday 22nd December 2pm-4pm at the RNLI Lifeboat station on Queen’s Promenade in Ramsey
You’ll be backed by a live band and singers, and for those with boy band/girl group ambitions there’ll be extra microphones so that you and your family or pals can all have a croon together!
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the RNLI and if you feel the cold, hot drinks will be available.

Curraghs Wildlife Park, Ballaugh
The Curraghs Wildlife Park in Ballaugh has established itself as one of the most popular attractions in the Isle of Man.
