JURBY BEACH & THE PASSAGES SHIPWRECK

The golden beach of Jurby encapsulates the best of the Island’s west coast: soft sands stretching far ahead, beautifully clean waters, and abundant wildlife in the serene surroundings. With relaxed dog restrictions, it’s also the perfect spot to give canine pals a good run.
At low tide, the azure waters recede to reveal the remains of a steam trawler, the Passages, which ran aground one stormy night in 1931. All men aboard survived, and the wreck continues to fascinate onlookers to this day.
