We moved to the Island and into a serviced apartment hoping to find somewhere to rent before the TT races when, we were told, accommodation would be as scarce as hen's teeth and the Island awash with motor bikes - both proved to be true - and we had to vacate the serviced apartment in 5 days. Then we met the wonderful people at Hartford Homes. We inspected one of their rental apartments in Kensington Place and immediately knew that we wanted to live there. It had everything we needed, a designated basement car space, a lift, high spec appliances, lovely furniture, the luxury of underfloor heating and phenomenal ocean views. It wouldn't be available for 2 weeks as the existing tenants' lease didn't expire until then. Hartford Homes came to our rescue and gave us a very comfortable Apartment in St Ninian's Court for that 2 week period. When we did move in we asked for another sofa and, no problem, it arrived within a couple of days. We have lived as expats in many countries and lived in many rented apartments and houses but we can honestly say that we feel the people at Hartford Homes are in a class of their own. They have modern 'up to the minute' apartments and people with 'old school' values - an awesome combination.
