Play wins prizes in the Isle of Play Easter holiday giveaway
Our supported charity Isle of Play’s ‘PlayingOut’ scheme was a little different over the lockdown Easter school holiday – but it was just as much fun for the Island’s kids!
Throughout the Easter break, Isle of Play were asking parents to send in photos of a playful activity their children had been getting up to around the home, in the garden or around the Island.
And the best bit? Every day, one of the participants would win a brilliant prize!
The response was incredible and 10 lucky children received a playful gift, from den building sets to mud kitchens, pogo sticks, scooters and more.
Here’s what Chris Gregory at Isle of Play had to say:
“It was honestly great delivering the prizes to the children. Most of them didn’t know they’d won, so I was greeted with a sense of awe usually reserved for Father Christmas when I rocked up with an awesome gift in hand!”
“A nod to everyone that sent their pictures in too. At a time when there are no sports, after school clubs and societies going on, play continues to emerge!”
Congratulations everyone! We hope you enjoy hours and hours of play with your prizes.
