PlayingOut returns for October Half Term

Just in time for the autumn break, the amazing team at Isle of Play are back with their free Island-wide play scheme.

Hop tu Naa is looming – the ancient Manx equivalent to Halloween – and that can mean only one thing: a well-deserved rest from the rigours of schoolwork for our Island’s youngsters.

Whilst most of us can expect lively renditions of “Jinny the Witch” on doorsteps up and down the Isle of Man later on in the week, local charity Isle of Play are preparing to take to the road once again with their flagship travelling play scheme, PlayingOut — proudly supported by Hartford Homes.

The team will be facilitating creative play in a number of inspiring outdoor venues across the Island between Monday 25 – Friday 29 October.

Here’s when and where PlayingOut will be visiting over October Half Term:

MONDAY 25 OCTOBER
10am - 12pm Coronation Park, Ramsey
2pm - 4pm Laxey Glen (Near play park)

TUESDAY 26 OCTOBER
10am - 12pm Ballasalla School
2pm - 4pm Foxdale School

WEDNESDAY 27 OCTOBER
10am - 12pm Raggatt, Peel
2pm - 4pm School field, Jurby

THURSDAY 28 OCTOBER
10am - 12pm Poulson Park, Castletown
2pm - 4pm Scoill Phurt le Moirrey, Port St Mary

FRIDAY 29 OCTOBER
10am - 12pm Millennium Field, Ballaugh
2pm - 4pm St Mary’s School field, Douglas

All ages and abilities are welcome. Children must be signed in by a parent/carer but can come and go as they please.
